I am something like a midwife for intellectual creations. I love thinking about the best possible term, the best way to construct a sentence. I love massaging your manuscript to tease out the exact message you had in mind. Doing so requires us to work together closely, as I want the manuscript to remain entirely your “baby”.
My courses and workshops are designed to help anyone who needs or wants to write tackle and master this challenge. The goal of my support is to make you feel competent and confident enough to complete your writing task independently. For teachers, I offer courses on the many ways in which writing can be used as a learning and teaching tool.
I earned my writing coach certificate from the Technical University Darmstadt and have five years of experience as a freelance copyeditor and lecturer with a focus on academic writing.
Classes and coaching sessions are also available in English. I have a Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency (C2) and can check your English-language manuscript for coherence and structure. For grammar, syntax and style proofreading I recommend contacting a native-language copyediting professional. My academic background: B.A. in American Studies, Sociology, Romance Studies (Spanish); M.A. in International Relations.
